Daddy and son, loves of my life
The party was such a success. We ate pulled pork sandwiches and spinach-artichoke dip - 2 of Field's favorite foods. His swing set had been set up for about 2 weeks, but I did not allow him (or Daddy) to play on it until all the grandparents could be there to watch him. Whit carried him over to it and he climbed up the ramp and slid down the slide for the first time. His excitement was just priceless.
I am so glad we waited for everyone to be there.

Field was very well behaved and stayed up late to enjoy all of his company. He walked a few steps while everyone was watching (he is walking up a storm now) and was surprisingly interested in opening his presents. He was so tired we didn't even have to bother with his bedtime routine.

What a precious gift our son is. He makes us laugh and smile, and he loves us whole-heartedly. We are so thankful for this wonderful first year and are very much looking forward to all the years to come.

Our memorial day

After a big weekend at the shop we are thankful to get to relax together out on the porch. We love our little family so much and could not possibly be happier.

Whit and Mini Whit

Whit at 2-1/2ish and Field at 1... Twinkies!!!
Can't wait to see how much more he looks like his handsome Daddy as the years go by.

Re-organizing the bathroom counter. Thanks Field!

Bath!

Field loves showers. Not baths, showers. He started pulling up early so from the time he could reach up and grab the faucet he spent his shower time standing. It works out great because he just hops in the shower with one of us and it's done in 5 minutes!

This picture is literally of the only "big boy" bath he has EVER had in the regular tub. He had fun for about 5 minutes then we decided that showers are better for all of us.

Helping daddy in the bobcat

Vroom!

Mmmmmm! Loaded Nachos!

This kid will try ANYTHING! I love how adventurous he is when it comes to food. If he doesn't like something he will open up his mouth and let it fall out. "No biggie Mom, I just won't eat it" He loved the nachos though!

I Can Has Cheeseburger?

He was watching Whit eat his burger and just dove right in as Whit went to take a bite.

Field's newest teeth (adios my little jack-o-lantern!)

The vampire look has gone away! It was super cute while it lasted, but we are happy to see the newest additions :-D
